After taking the test, you can hand in your sample at any REWE outlet in Vienna (BILLA, BILLA Plus, BIPA and Penny), or any petrol station shops (BP–Merkur Inside, JET–BILLA Stop & Shop, SHELL–BILLA Unterwegs).
You will receive your test result by email within 24 hours.
If you hand in your sample before 9am, you will usually get the test result the next morning. Samples are also picked up from shops from 2pm. Therefore, if you hand in your sample before 2pm, you will usually receive the test result the next day.
A negative PCR test result is a valid certificate for travelling abroad.
